The story behind it is that it was a miserably rainy afternoon on almost the last day of my holiday, and rather than stay in the hotel, I went out for a walk, looking for anything worthy of a photo. The rest you can see!

I reckon the house owner had 'scrounged' a load of this reinforcing bar off a building site somewhere, as the whole fence was made of it!

Terrific macro masterly caught in 'fixing' the drop at the right moment ; so creatively seen and then artistically composed in the contrast between the rusty ( beautiful!) fence and the white glassy drop against the boke background!

I thought it an unusual idea to make the fence from this steel. Maybe they work in construction..
