Sierra de La Cabrera. Gashed rock.

Sierra de La Cabrera. Gashed rock.
I have often puzzled about those gashes. But I know the area was glaciated and under an ice sheet at the deepest point of the last ice age and so I can only imagine it was done by slowly travelling rocks embedded in the ice.

How interesting - I love the gold lighting on these rocks and it even makes the gashes look as if they've drawn blood.

The light is gorgeous! You may well be right about the origin of the gashes.
