Andy Rodker club has replied to Jocelyne Villoing clubPatones de Ariba was once a fair-sized place and these are the ruins of houses that have been deserted over the centuries. You get the same in many such places, all over Spain. In some villages there are only a handful of old people left, in others, none at all - the relentless drive away from the country and to the cities. This places survives simply because there are a few good restaurants that attract weekenders from Madrid.

Rosa,
Thank you very much!
Also, on another photo of mine, you invited me to add the picture to 'the only true HANWE group'. I am already a member and was planning to add another picture to this group later today, but thank you for asking!!
Best wishes,
Andy
