Trereen Dinas (South), Cornish Granite. PLEASE STAY, DON'T RUN AWAY!!!
Near Penberth Cove, Porthcurno and Logan Rock, West Penwith, Cornwall.
It actually is a rock window but I couldn't get the whole frame in the shot without falling off the cliff edge behind me. ... And that I would not do, even for my art!! :o)

Andy Rodker club has replied to Nick Weall clubI know you know this place well. I tried to start a Cornwall Group on 23 but I'm not sure how to promote it properly yet! I used to enjoy your old Kernow group on Pano!.
Best wishes, Andy

Oh, Andy, this reminds me of our unfinished(?) discussion from older Pano days about Maine coastline and Cornish coastline/granite being the same. Subsequently I stumbled on information about the Norumbega Fault in Maine, and quick further research about Pangea geology called Avalonia ... so, you were right: same rocks, both sides of the Atlantic; a small part of Europe left stuck to North America (Maine coast) when the continents drifted (ripped) apart. [Avalonia on Wikipedia is informative.]
Standing corrected, but rarely humble, Wally
Andy Rodker club has replied to L. L. Wall clubI will have a look at Avalonia - thanks for the tip!
Thank you and have a great week.
Best wishes, Andy
