Skye, Loch Scavaig. Professor Norman Davies
July 1980, Skye. The Junior Mountaineering Club of Scotland has a climbing hut here on Loch Coruisk, in the heart of the Black Cuillins. Professor Norman Davies is a fine accordion player!

Ron,
Thank you both very much!
Teresa,
Rosa,
Many thanks to you all.
Best wishes,. Andy
Professor Davies became famous later.
Have a good week yourself!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Diane Putnam clubThe professor is famous in the UK and Poland with many best-selling histories under his belt (though that lay in the future). He was always going to spend the week here practicing the accordion while the rest of us went up onto the Cuillin Ridge!! The yacht was anchored here for a few days, fortuitously! It was certainly a one-off scene! His attire was rather old-fashioned even for 1980!
