The Este Castle in Ferrara

The Este Castle in Ferrara
From a strange perspective, it is true, but it presented itself like this from the street café where we used to sip our Camparis before having dinner...

Civilised it was. Quite different from the old days, when we had our Camparis, and no money left for dinner.
And after dinner, an espresso and an Amaretto di Saronno... That’s living! :-)

Temperatures were much more agreeable, in the evening. Generally, my problem is that, for infrastructural reasons, I always (have to) wear a jacket. Normal people have nothing on them but a cell phone, I have everything on me but a cell phone...

Yes, naked flesh depends on context. :-) As for me, I haven’t worn shorts since I was ten (and gave up sandals little later). Same dress code summer and winter, home, at work, and on vacation. No need to think about it.
There have been times I had six grey suits (w. vest) in my wardrobe, but when I tell this now hardly anyone’s willing to believe me... In the end, they simply required too much maintenance. I’ll think it over as soon as I can afford a valet.

Cell phones are a curse. People talking aloud by themselves when they’re walking down the street, noisy, lengthy, and inept conversations on the commuters’ train... Ah!
Fortunately, at work there isn’t much of a problem: in our library, we can enforce “silentium”...
