Ernie in landscape

Ernie in landscape
Ernie is a small sized Aussie healer. (OK, heeler.) He's kind of a comical little guy, but true to his breed he is stubborn, aloof and likes only one person in the world: my daughter-in-law. Everyone else can just go take a hike...unless they have a ball to toss.

Bergfex, aNNa schramm, Jean Paul Capdeville, Don Sutherland and 8 other people have particularly liked this photo

Is ‘healer’ his breed or his profession? Have you trained him in Mental Health work?

He is too stubborn for training in MH work He would not listen to his clients! Anyway, thanks for catching the typo. It's too funny to correct.

THANKS FOR THE LINK - FUN TO SEE FLICKA AGAIN! LUKE WAS A BONUS,

DON'T THINK I EVER SAW HIM. FLICKA WAS THE CLASSIC HEELER.

I LOVE THAT ONE BLACK EAR AND EYE. XOXOXO

Hi! Great to see you here. Awesome photo! I hope you hadn't just landed on the ground and then took the photo - ha! But really, the perspective makes this great.

So you still have snow. I would have been fine with snow, but we got the 15 degree and then freezing rain scene up here in Portland. We're still recovering from the tree coming down and all the aftermath of being out of the house for over 10 days. But we were lucky compared to others. I'm sure you are more used to cold weather than we are. Hope you are doing well!!!!

This photo is from January. No, I'm not used to the cold...and not used to heat, either - ha! Yes, I heard about the Portland weather on the news, quite freakish. We had a rather uneventful winter down here. Thanks for stopping by, raingirl!

Les ancêtres d'Ernie ont bien fais de quitter l'Australie car il n'aurait probablement pas connu la neige.Il semble beaucoup aimer ça.

Probably correct. We mainly have cattle in warm to hot climate places.

I've seen videos of heelers herding half-wild cattle in the outback. VERY impressive!

Ernie believes he is too good to herd cattle. He considers himself a prince. ;-b
