Pizza in the window

Pizza in the window
How to attract the Americans walking by? French fry pizza! It didn't work for me, it looked terrible. I had a salad, instead.

Lasagne and chips...never heard of such a thing! Thank you, Jean, it will be awhile before it's done - I have several tests and so on to make sure I need it!

Yuck, how can anybody eat that!
In my interrailing days I once was happy to see chicken curry and rice on the menu in an English pub- but it came with a huge load of chips (french fries) on the side-grrrrr...

You know what a Chip Butty is, right Diane? I thought I had invented that in the American heartland during the '60s, not having any idea that my invention was decades behind the innovations of others in England and around the world. Sheepishly, I'll confess, I'd try a french fry pizza. (I guess once you've had french fries on Wonder Bread, there's no returning to "normal" food.)

I don't know what that is! You'll have to enlighten me. Well, Smiley, I just don't know what to say about fries on Wonder bread, but I did make mustard and mayo sammies on Wonder bread when I was in 2nd and 3rd grade.
