I'm not sure there are regulations for hinges that you dig up from your junk in the garage! I think it's funny that this guy has lost 3 bolts, so he uses screws on the bottom. ;-)

He did it well: The bolts for the metal above, the screws fixed in dowels for concrete and the nail for a cheap sparepart for the hinge. No long and expensive driving to the home depots needed. And in case of loosing the keys.... just pull out the nail :))
