What a marvellous still life! Most of the tools still look in working order.

Those tools have seen some work! A super selection of lumps, bumps, scratches and rust..!

Any self-respecting tools will look like these! Thank you, Keith.

I see the plastic snow shovel has yet to arrive in OR. Seriously, if you have a lot of snow, get one. They don't bend, the leading edge always stays straight, and they're way lighter. Your heart will thank you.

I know. All we have are plastic ones, mine is dumpster green. The one above is probably from the '50s. Or, it's for shoveling something used by construction crews, which is where these tools are housed.

That's the best advice I've heard for ages. J.F. for Pan-American President!

Yeah! Plus, he's Canadian! My first choice was Trudeau, but he turned down the job already. (Sorry, John.)

A broom isn't a tool!!!!

Actually, a sexist remark since we think of brooms as "women's work" and tools as "men's"

I tend to use my screwdrivers a lot more than my broom. Don't know what that says about me, but there you are.

I've suspected for some time that you were, at heart, a guy :)

Hahaha! Comes from growing up in a logging family and with three brothers, I think. I have become more of a guy since moving here, this is a high-testosterone region and very little to look at that isn't metal, rust, camo and dirt.

Too apt a description of much of rural Oregon-- though now there seems to be addition of pot farms.

Isn't it? The pot farms are west of here and especially in No. CA. If it's growing in Klamath Co., it would have to be in the kind of very spendy greenhouse that few people can afford. Funny thing is, local voters rejected permitting recreational pot dispensing. So, the locals have to keep going to a Medford doc for their medical Rx cards (there's one medical dispensary here) or just keep buying on the corner, as always.
