I do remember it from my childhood (moved away as a teenager). There were also two very nice ladies' apparel shops on Main St., but they closed down ages ago. I even remember buying my dress for the 8th grade graduation at the one called La Pointe's. I guess this is what suffices as "quite some history" in the USA - haha!
