Looking east from Loch Braigh nan Allt (I think). This is described as a fine little Corbett of 769m. In the background on the right is the famous Stac Pollaidh, a gem of a mountain at 612m described as one of the most popular mountains in Scotland with its steep pinnacled ridge liked to a porcupine

Enjoy full size

The shadows from the craggy mountain look great in this shot Herb.
It is a calm and beautiful scene.
Cheers, Rosa.

All the ingredients to make a nice Scottish scene Keith. We have to make the most of such things when we see them. thankfully I have an understanding wife when I screech to a stop and grab the camera.

Enjoy the rest of the week. Herb

Ha, ha........my wife has started carrying a book with her. She finds a bench and reads while I wander about with the camera (or sits in the car if it's too cold or wet)!

Haha, like me and I even grabbed my Scottish Mountain Club Guides book of the Corbetts. Even then I am not positive on that loch as there were a few off this road. Glad you enjoyed it.

Enjoy the rest of the week. Herb

Just been watching BBC Scotland Paul Murton Tour of Scottish Lochs and he finished on top of Stac Polly.

Just to help, I had a look at the Memory-Map 3D fly-through option on my computer and to find the angle I think you took this photo a little further along the road North. Lochan An Ais is probably the foreground water at the Knockan Crag Car Park.
