This is really lovely Herb................I'm glad you left the person in shot his florescent jacket and reflection really draw the eye into the image. The diffused light coming through the trees is gorgeous, especially where it's reflected on the surface of the water. I also like the reflections of the trees. Outstanding!

Ah, to leave a person in or out of the picture-always a question Keith. As a purist of landscapes - I try to avoid people but as a lover of pictorial captures, I think that people quite often enhance a scene by giving scale and character not to leave out rare splashes of colour. Glad, of course that you liked the whole scene.

As you know Herb I leave people out of most of my landscape shots but some times it helps to keep them in as in your Image I think it makes the photo.nice job.

I think we are of the same mind with that one Toz. I think that I would not have taken this if not for the person in too. I must admit though that the reflections look better on here than I remember them being.

Although it's the middle of winter, this shot has a beautiful warm feel to it. Love the perspective and long reflections!!

Yes Rosa, the Winter season need not put us of taking pictures. Even though I often rush photographs as I am with my wife, I always try to get the best p.o.v. and perspective with my lens lengths. Glad you liked it.

Lovely Herb, have you considered a mono of this? The trees and water might just suit the treatment

I did indeed have a look at it in mono but with normal contrast levels the trees and reflections all blended in together. All in all it did look very similar though.
