That's a nice thing to say Rosa. This track is only about 200yrds from my house. It does not always look as pretty as this and more and more of these trees are being cut down to make way for yet more urban housing development as it was once all old cotton mills here, hence it is all brown field development. The frost and white trees were a delight. Thanks for the star too.

The light starting to shine says it was a nice morning, but the ISO of 640 says, maybe it was a little dark still. Whichever it was, you have made a great picture of it.

I cannot pull the wool over your eyes Peter. Yes the lighting was relatively dark, especially to take at 250 and so the iso was turned up for all that. I am certainly glad that you have enjoyed this one so much as you know for me taking such light gives me a thrill. And yes, it was very cold, two pairs of gloves on at this stage of the game.

I am sure you are right about that Frank, certainly seeing your own area in every conceivable light helps. I am lucky that, even living in a most ugly town, that I am at its edge and near real beutiful countryside. To be fair to Oldham, many old eyesores have been sanitised somewhat, inluding this old railway line, now designated a linear-park albeit not the safest place to walk alone. Got to admit that I love this moment of rare weather and light.
