Thanks David. The council has just re-laid this path with new sand/grit and that gives an extra shine to the path added to the greens and whites here. Great that you enjoyed it.

I did not remember snow so late in the Spring. The forest is beautiful. As were I live there are mountains all around in the last days it was very cold , and with the rain we had snow, not down, but until about 300 mt.

We often get a little snow at this time but it seldom stays long. Not so much a forest here but a thin line of valuable tree-lined walking path that once held a railway line.

A cold but sunny day..............perfect for a leisurely stroll.

I love the curve of the pathway............and the distant snow capped fence. The light is gorgeous too and has produced some nice dappled shadows. Very well taken Herb.

We had a drive out today and then a walk through the woods, on a recce to see if there were any bluebells around. None yet, but there were signs that there will be a decent show in a few weeks.

Anyway, enough waffling. HFF to you. I hope you have a lovely weekend...........and stay safe and well.

Thanks Keith. Yes light, lines and colour all add to this scene. We useally try to see the bluebells too. We missed our usual pilgrimage to see them last year -maybe this? We have just heard that our May holiday to Scotland may go ahead and so a great longed-for outing soon to come. Maybe deer and otters to see in both our venues?
