A superb capture of the wonderful moody weather which transforms it from just a very pleasant view, I can't work out the white patch on the rocks

A great little place with an interesting coastal promenade. I think the white bits in the rock may be some crystalline that I too saw and studied. I have another from here which I intend posting too.

I remember it for the statue of Charlie Chaplin!

I don't know why but for a long time I thought it was Kenmare, Herb.I only have a photo.It was 2006. Then, maybe I searched for the statue and found that it was in Waterville, I have the correction in the album, not yet digital. Thank to you too for the conversations in 2018. Have a good new begin. With my Cornwall background, I have always loved these coastal villages and towns proudly defying the worst that The Atlantic can fling at them! Superb shot, Herb!

Thanks Andy. Ireland seems to have a lot of seaside villages just like this. Of course the background hills makes it for me but I enjoyed the coloured houses too.
