The best part you cant see Perth but if you look at the Fourth shot down that is lit ONLY with the lights from Perth behind me I did nothing but the taking of the shot . Do look at the large shot.

First let me say, I like the curve of the fence. Now this place looks like it may be interesting to visit during the day but I can see at night it is something else -more like magic perhaps. I guess just far away for you to get the full Milky Way and also far enough as to not get light pollution from the city. Great series.

Herb it quite a view as you walk about the mount. as you are able to get a good view over the whole area. this is why it was the fire look out tower location for Forrest fires



You cant miss that tree on the very left of shot .

As the crow lies you are 74 km in from the coast but we are so lucky we have one of the blackest skies in the world. there is a concerted effort with the whole of outback WA to keep it that way for eco tourist that come here to shoot in our black skies. I have met a few on my night outs as well from all parts of the earth.

its an almost dream location well worth the drive out but one of the night was cut short as you can see some young people came and built a huge bonfire. You can see in three shots we left on a very short stay, HFF hope you have a good weekend as well.
