Close up of Tarantula Nebula NGC2070

Close up of Tarantula Nebula NGC2070
When the moon is out and you have finished all your trials. You go back and try and learn just a bit more from old data. I know I want to do this again properly not just a trial shot but quite impressed how it worked out none the less. This is right next to the LMC The white Dot top right In the PIP.

Large Magellanic Cloud

Just like any new camera you have to learn and "play" with it to get an idea just what it can do. So this is one of those sets taking advantage of the moon time to learn. It is great to see such details with only so few shots and so many stars in this area of the sky.

hope you found the very bright star next to the large Magellanic cloud on the top right it is so bright.

I also haven't a clue about how you manage to take such marvelous images, I have never seen such detail with my naked eye ~ Well done indeed

It a will do do it and try and understand your gear and set up correctly.

Set up- For those interested

it is a long learning but I believe I am finally getting the idea and the info you see above proves it. you are looking at a view of 1560mm certainly not a view you would ever see by eye.

in the next few months it will be the rise of the Orion area which is a part of the sky I am very keen to get the data from. glad you enjoy it, I post for those who are interested as well.

Very impressive indeed, Steve. I guess "close up" is a relative term, probably expressed in light years. :-)

yes you are right, I am not keen to get another scope even larger I am happy to stay with the limits I have. the cost is quite high to set up another in fact cheaper to buy a camera by a mile hence why I did. I have all my Nikon lens i can use and for some projects I want to do I will so.eg Bernard's loop the whole of Orion area but with 50mm and will have to be out of the city for the light pollution.

1560mm is long enough view for me at the moment also gives me more room in my study to store the equipment as I dont have a shed I can use for just deep space.
