Heron:- Mandurah Crab Festival

Heron:- Mandurah Crab Festival
Mandurah Crab festival well before Covid struck us. Day and a night. despite the colours I believe this is the Heron that frequents the water ways of Mandurah.

PIP's views of the festival and the fire works.

A good series from more relaxed times, Steve. I'll try looking up your heron in my bird book. :-)

yeah Time we all wish we had back again. I thought first Brolga but very wrong colours White faced Heron but no white face. then again it just might be a made up set of colours on this bird and not a match to any bird in WA. I never got the chance to ask the person more is the pity as that would have told the whole story. It was a very good day though some thing we can all dream off.....

The last two Crab Fests have been cancelled, Steve. Here's hoping next year's is OK (March 19-20, 2022). Hope we see you there.

we have such an uncertain future even though we are blessed to be covid free. the sad fact is it only takes one person to undo all that has been done. you will see me there if it goes ahead part of our culture.
