Jupiter & three of its moons

Jupiter & three of its moons
Io is upper right of Jupiter. Europa is too close to Jupiter to be seen. Callisto and Ganymede are very close to each other lower left of Jupiter. "Far" to the lower left is the star mu Capricornus. Thanks to SkySafari 6 for helping me figure this out.
Power line is above all this.

Would you say that the largest object is Jupiter? Or Ganimed ?

The largest object is definitely Jupiter. The others are three of the four moons discovered by Galileo.

Wow, you got them. Good for you! It's amazing all that's out there once you start researching it. I can see how people really get into the nighttime photography.

I hear that right now the Milky Way can be seen. I should be out there looking for it!

Thanks a lot, Karen. I took another photo this morning and got all four of the Galilean moons. I also downloaded some inexpensive software that let me identify them. You should be able to see the Milky Way almost any night, but you need to have a dark sky away from city lights.
