Thanks, Diane. I like to go visit the new babies in the spring. About 100 ft from here, the adolescent alligators like to lie on the shore in the winter sunshine.

I did not see the mother that day. I have read that the mother watches/defends them for a year or so. animaldiversity.org/accounts/Alligator_mississippiensis

I saw three baby alligators here, and heard several more further from shore. I watched carefully for their mom.
