If you like 'parks planting' schemes you'll love The Dingle in Shrewsbury. At this time of year it takes centre stage with annual flowers planted in flower beds and baskets. Personally it's not my style, but one has to admire the work that goes into it.

The PiP shows part of the formal planting area one week after it was finished.

Two gorgeous images Amelia. Whilst the formal gardens may not be to everyone's taste I find the neat layout not on beautiful but actually very restful as is the fountain centrepiece. :pvely colours and all the flowerboxes along the fence are a delight
