Today's Challenge is: What or who are you thankful for in your life. I'll write more about this photo later.

Reasons to be thankful:
1. I am so thankful that we live in a village and within 5 minutes walk we are in fields and woodland, and within short drives to canals. So even during full lock-down we were able to get out and about.
2 And I am thankful for Adrian who walks with me almost every day, and opens gates using his stick when necessary. He does get a bit impatient when I take photos for Ipernity though - as you can probably see. ;-)))

Adrian uses the stick to unlatch gates so that I don't have to touch them as I walk through. ;-))

Amelia, saludos a Adrian, y dile que pedimos que te deje hacer las fotografías que quieras para compartir en Ipernity, incluso retratos suyos. Lo del palo y la puerta estaba claro; utiliza el bastón para desenganchar las puertas y si es necesario defenderte de un perro agresivo.

Nice to see the lovely countryside so close to your village Amelia. You are indeed fortunate to have that freedom even in full lock-down, along with Adrian along to open the gates for you!

Let's thank Adrian for his patience, not easy to be a photographer's companion when you don't take photos !
We were indeed privileged with lockdowns with nature at our doors and the freedom during lockdowns, I am in that case too and it is for me hard to realize what people have been through when they lived in places they really had to be inside without possible escape from concrete buildings...

il est vrai que de vivre à la campagne (pour moi un village portugais de 70 habitants) est un privilège.Le confinement a été un épisode plutôt agréable puisque les contraintes ne nous incommodaient pas. J'aime beaucoup votre idée de la gratitude. Merci pour cette leçon de sagesse et de modestie.
