HFF from the Wednesdays Cafe Bar in Oswestry

HFF from the Wednesdays Cafe Bar in Oswestry
A cafe in Oswestry has unveiled a custom-made sculpture inspired by a Norse God. Local artists, Bridie Dunbabin and George Triggs revealed the sculpture at Wednesdays Cafe Bar, made by Oswestry artist Jas Davidson,

The owner of Wednesdays, Tim Bailey, said the commission would feature the Norse God, Odin, also known as Woden and is influenced by the name of the cafe as the weekday name of Wednesday derives from the Old English name of the god: ‘Woden’s day’.

Well captured Amelia and great notes. I thought at first glance it was Gandalf and it was a Hobbit's bar!! Think I would have fit right in!! HFF and have a good weekend

A perfect place to have a coffee under the protection of Odin and his ravens. It's interesting how things are being adapted and solutions found. Looks like we may all be spending more time in the open air which may be no bad thing. Must stock up on my winter woollies.

Last week I berated M&S for not having their full thermal wear available yet, Jean. Have now received notification that that state of affairs has been rectified. We sit outside to drink a coffee even in mid winter.
We're hoping to come up to Fife in mid September, but are hesitating to book anything too early. We'll see what the infection rates are in the next week or two.
