A corker of a shot Amelia, especially through double glazing. The feather detail is excellent.

In answer to your comment on my woodpecker post..........no it's not usual for us, this is the first ones we've seen in the garden in the 30 years we've lived here. It also takes peanuts, but is much fonder of the fat cakes, which I'm guessing are better for the juvenile.

Lucky you ! And what a great capture. Lots of detail and caught munching a peanut. I feel very envious. I've only had a woodpecker in the garden once and that was years ago.
