There was a very short glimmer of sunshine, Roger, but for most of the time i was wiping my lens. I have asked for a rain cover for the camera from Santa Claus. Hope he has received the message. ;-)

Lichen and mosses- small things can be so beautiful! Especially if the weather's bad;-) I hope Santa brings you a raincover;-) I sometimes use one of those plastic shower caps you get in hotels, they weigh next to nothing and are always in my camera bag.

Well observed Amelia - a proper little eco-system on a rock! Good to see the lichen - it's generally accepted as a sign of good air quality.
