Today was supposed to be a sort of fine/showery day and so we didn't plan on going anywhere. As I'm beginning to realise - Mickey needs to be doing something. He's not a sit down and do nothing type of guy. I need quiet days or else I get all distressed etc, so I made today a day of sort of rest. Meanwhile Mickey discovered more gardening tools and decided to clear a path through my shrubbery.................
He's made it all lovely and interesting again. There used to be quite a few paths down through the garden and he's found a few of them...................
Then he decided to cut my grass - good lad................
Not before I took some pictures though of a lovely colourful plant which was residing in the middle of the grass.................
I think it's purple vetch and despite it being a weed, it's still very pretty. I also noticed that there were lots of tiny rambling roses out............
This is so pretty and being a rambler I seem to expect a sort of openess of the petals but this is formed like a perfect little rose..............
I also have some of those gorgeous little blue flowers growing up in the flower bed................
Also there are lots of tiny apples forming in the apple tree. Boy am I going to be having lots of apple pies etc in the winter time..............
So you see - things are looking lovely and rosy. It's lovely having Mickey here and as long as he's having fun, that's all that matters and if he says any different, like I lock him outside until he's done all the chores isn't true. Although that can be arranged if he likes................. LOL
