Kingston Maurward is a college for land-based studies situated two miles east of Dorchester, Dorset. This building is used for administration purposes and private functions. The beautiful parkland and small animal park are free to walk around. The main teaching and equine facilities are a mile down the road. PiP was taken in the parkland.

Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to @ngélique ❤️ clubGood evening and bisous my friend ****
I like the colour of the stonework.................I'm used to seeing the honey-coloured stones in your photos, so this makes a great change,. I wonder what it was used for before the college, it looks very grand.
Superbly composed and taken Rosa..............and a lovely photo of Sophie in the PiP.
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubThe present house is Portland limestone but it replaced a much earlier manor house. The present mansion was built by George Pitt around 1700. It has been a college since 1949.
Thank you for your kind comments and interest Keith, which is much appreciated. Glad you like the Sophie pic :-))
Keith Burton club has replied to Rosalyn Hilborne clubThanks for the extra info on the building.
At the moment, I don't think we're getting our money's worth from the NT membership, so we'll be reviewing it as well.
Did you know that if you buy the Gardener's World magazine (I think it's the May issue), you get a card giving you 2 for 1 entrance to gardens all over the country? We do it every year!
