Yes I think that's right Herb. It is a view I never tire of and have walked many of the distant hills. There is also an airfield along the top with a good cafe that I am anxious to visit again :-)

A great viewpoint..............and very nicely composed and taken between the trees. The view is superb and I love the warm and vibrant colours. Excellent work Rosa.

As soon as we're able to travel I think I'm going to have to do some exploring in your part of the country. I shall be asking for recommendations in due course, although I'll probably start with Stourhead.

I spent a long time looking on Streetview to see where you were, and where Laundry Lane is (and also the steep path up to Love Lane) . All in all a very pretty little village, and a very nice picture of it. Another one to visit when we are released...!

Thank you for your kind comments and interest. Did you see St James' Allotments on the map? That is where I photographed the dog. I walked there to see my sister-in-laws 2 chickens and they look the best fed and luckiest chickens ever, haha!
