Excellent Rosa.! I love the timeless look of the cottages. The main image is superb.........the amount of detail you've captured in the stonework, cobblestones and roof tiles is outstanding. I especially like the colour palette. The light is nice too..........and you have some good definition in the clouds!

This place is worth a visit, definitely! I love the the thatched roofs in the third picture, but everything looks so beautiful and perfect for a rest...next time you will be drinking your coffee with your daughter inside a cosy café, no more take-away!;-)

There are certainly a variety of cottages along the hill Adele. I have only ever been inside one and they have great views from their back gardens. I hope the day will soon come for us all, when we can sit inside a cafe and go to a shop! I need some clothes and I hate buying online!

Wonderful and interesting composition
A gentleman in our camera club submitted a black and white photo from the exact same spot in a competition last Thursday. (Although taken more facing down the hill). He came 2nd or 3rd with it.. Now the whole club wants to go there!!!

There are usually a high number of tourists at the top of the hill Peter. Only a few of them venture down, which is a shame as St James is very interesting with lots of lovely buildings, and a pub.
