Ebenezer's Christmas Shop!

Did you go Christmas shopping with Sophie?;-) The shop looks tasteful, not like the ones we have in Germany aimed at American and Asian customers. The old shopfront is really lovely!

Thankfully it was closed Gudrun ;-)) However, there was a toy shop opposite...I think she spotted something in the window! I thought the window display was nice as well. Thank you for your kind comments.

The size of the clock in the window makes the shop look like a miniature model. My mind is confused. :-))

It's a full size shop Amelia ;-)) I had a look on their website and it is a huge space inside.

That should be enough to wake you up !!!!! looks like Sophie could be planning ahead, it won't be long before all the shops go onto Christmas mode, I went to Wilko's for some garden bits that will soon be in a corner and replaced with Christmas things, I hope you are keeping dry I did go to the allotment for some broad beans, and courgettes :((((

I'm sure Sophie could write me a list already Peter! Haven't had any rain for days again and it's beginning to show with the lawn. Hope you enjoyed your broad beans. The jackdaws ripped the pods of mine open when they were just starting to grow! You can keep your courgettes though...I'm not keen!! Have a good new week.

A very nice picture, and a wonderful find. I see the notice in the window says "Closed on Sunday", what a pity for you. I am sure you and Sophie would have enjoyed it. Proper wood and metal toys to encourage creative and imaginative games.. Wonderful..
(Although rather a shame to see excessive use of the 'C word' in July...!)

A charming shop, Rosa, that looks like something straight out of a Dickens novel.

In the second pic, Sophie and the soldier are perfectly placed in the frame to give perfect balance to the composition. By the way, Sophie is getting big!
