It is obvious from this commanding view over the river why the castle was built in this location. The tiny figure certainly confirms the immense size of the river. Love the curved line of the shore and those created by the currents in the water. Lovely composition Rosa.

I am pleased you like the view. It is very hot today. I must say I don't handle the heat too well....often just like to stay in the garden, but I am looking after Sophie today and we have already had a game of table tennis outside....phew!! Hope you enjoy the sunshine.

Having the person in the photo shows the huge dimensions, a wondrful near abstract photo! I have always been fascinated by tidal flats, it's amazing to imagine all this covered by water only a few hours later.
