Hmm... the Mods are back in town!!... I never liked riding a scooter... to unstable for me, I had a proper motorbike!!... Lovely photo,and PiP, Rosa, brings back a few memories.... John.

Brings back memories, not that I ever had one or rode on one. Probably about ages with bubble cars which I did travel in.

I remember our insurance man used to come around in a bubble car, with the front opening! Whoever thought that was a good idea ;-))

I prefered and had motorcycles and then found that four wheels were safer although much less fun.

Having seen the results of bad injuries I still hold that opinion.

A pair of very nicely taken pictures, and certainly a great display of skill with the camera, earning a golden star.
As for the machines themselves, well one of the activities at a good bike rally is to get a scooter from somewhere, and totally wreck it, leaving the bits hanging on a tree to rust!!

Thank you for your kind comments. Great links! Mods and rockers seemed to mix well together in North Dorset....I don't think the agro reached us ;o) I didn't ride my scooter for very long. I didn't get on too well with it!

Great theme! I like the upper one more - crop and tones calmes the surroundings down quite well, so the scooters become the eyecatcher.
