Amazing photo Keith. As you have stated, these bees seem to be very attracted to these prickly plants. There is obviously a great deal of pollen for them to feed on and collect. Superb photo too -

Oh this is beautiful Keith. The sea holly is attractive and the bees show up nicely against it. I like that they are each working one side giving it an almost symmetrical look which is very pleasing to the eyes.
