This is an outstanding one*****************************************, and bee's wings are incredibly fast. But I'd rather have it like this, you can perceive movement, and if wings wre frozen it would not be so poetical, IMHO

You can't knock this one Keith,.. it's smack on,.. I reckon it would be very difficult to freeze the wing movement of these bees... so give yourself a pat on the back for this,.. // Dj.

I lost count of the number of photos I deleted trying to get this one, but it was great fun!

Das hat jetzt mit den Speicherkarten den Vorteil,dass man viele Aufnahmen machen kann und die schlechten löscht,ich mache das auch immer lieber Keith,auf meiner Runde mache ich so ca 100-150 Fotos,ca 30% behalte ich,die anderen werden gelöscht:))

Wow Keith, this must be one of my favourite photos of this year. I know you wish you had taken a faster shot, but really this is a perfect photo of this bee and the flower it's aiming for. I look at that flower, and I can imagine having it to put in my resin!!!!! Sorry. LOL

This time last year I was struggling with this lens and I was seriously thinking of selling it........but I persevered with it and I do believe I'm getting the hang of it now. It's a slow lens which needs plenty of light and/or high iso, but you can work round that when processing nowadays.
