My thanks as always for your generous comments Güni............hopefully there will be more butterfly shots in due course (if I ever see any). I'm hoping my buddliea bushes will attract some more when they start flowering.

A super close up Keith with superb detail. I also haven't seen many butterflies yet. Hopefully once the buddleia flowers it will attract some. The cabbage white is not the most welcome of them, but their markings that camouflage them so effectively are quite beautiful.

Brilliant photo of this cabbage white, I wonder why gardeners dislike them so much. I hope you manage to find more butterflies in your garden, now that summer's virtually here. I have noticed butterflies flitting around my garden, doing their dances.

Perfectly caught with such great detail! It looks more green than white- on the underside at least- so it blends beautifully with the leaf!

Glad you think so Gudrun.............thank you very much. I think the wings are picking up most of the green from the sun reflecting off the leaves. You're right though, it does make great camouflage.
