Buffed-tailed Bumblebee on Seaside Daisy

Buffed-tailed Bumblebee on Seaside Daisy
Taken in my garden.

Seaside daisy, or to give it it's proper name Erigeron glaucus, is also known as seaside fleabane, or beach aster.

The flower and bee are really beautifully captured Keith. I have noticed a good variety of bees in the garden this year. It must be a good sign.
Sunday greetings and a good new week.

Another great macro from you. Whenever I lift my camera to get similar shots the wildlife fly or crawl away.

Thanks very much Herb. Glad you like it.

Same here..........you just have to keep on trying I'm afraid. Insects take a while to warm up, so early in the morning is best.

You could also cheat a bit, by making up some sugar water and use a dropper to place it somewhere convenient :-)) I haven't tried that yet, but I probably will at some stage.

Always good and sort of 'life-affirming' seeing happy bumblebees going about their buzzzzzzzzziness!
A quite superb shot, Keith!

Easy to see why bees are attracted to these beautifully coloured flowers, Keith,
this really is a superb capture with fine detail and excellent content.
