Sein Kopf, Halsschild und Beine glänzend blauschwarz; Körper und Beine lang behaart, Kopf und Halsschild mit braunen Härchen. Fühler mit verdicktem, dreigliedrigen Ende. Halsschild fein punktiert. Flügeldecken von vorn nach hinten abwechselnd blauschwarz und rot gebändertEr sucht sich gerne sonnige Orte auf und ist an Waldrändera auch zu finden,man sieht ihn von Mai bis Juli :))

Its head, pronotum, and legs are glossy blue-black; its body and legs are covered in long hairs, and its head and pronotum are covered with brown hairs. Antennae have a thickened, tripartite end.
