The breakwater forms the backdrop to this scene from above the Harbour at , Ballantrae, Carrick, South Ayrshire,
The storage area contains both active and retired boats, It has an attractive and often deserted beach which consists of shingle and sand and offers views of Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran and Kintyre.

The only water Margaret will see these days is from rain driving in off of the sea,
the old girl appears not to have aged well!
