Not the most inspiring architecture, yet a nice image.

At least the balconies are being used which makes them a bit individual:-)

I hate rich neighbourhoods like Chelsea in London, Gudrun, where every house looks identical, down to the big red alarm bell. For a start, how do those people find their way home when they're drunk? I suppose the idea is for people of distinction to discourage outsiders by being undistinguished.

It has its pleasures, Ulrich. Like waking up in the morning in winter to hear someone else shovelling the sidewalk.

I'm wondering in the person bottom left has just finished watering all the flowers after starting from the top? A fascinating shot John........and I love the title.

.............I did notice it was a tad over sharpened :-)))

Thanks, Keith. Buddy could be the provincial Flower Inspector, I suppose, Keith, but if that's his uniform it's a little shabby.

Man, I love balconies, especially when they're full of the everyday clutter of our lives. I also disagree vehemently about the quality of the architecture. People live there and have made efforts to create individual paradises. We can't all live in McMansions or palaces. This looks fine to me.

A great piece of work, Mr Fitzgerald; your sharpening has paid great dividends, especially when it is viewed enlarged.

Thank you very much, John. I agree that it's what goes on inside a building that counts. And actually I'd rather not live in a pa;ace; I'd always be afraid of damaging. That just reminded me of a prominent interior designer in Toronto. When he designs a living room for someone he comes back a year later to make sure there's wear on the furniture.

I don't do jigsaw puzzles, but what a fantastic puzzle this would make!

Thanks for pointing that out, Deborah. I think I'll go look up how to make jigsaw puzzles.
