Riverdale (#0343)
Looking south down the St. Johns from the Riverdale Park. If you look closely at the first dock in the picture, you can see that the boathouse portion is not connected to the dock, but the dock looks to be very passable. Additionally, just past that dock, there appears to be a boathouse with no dock leading up to it. I suspect some boathouse and docks include such gaps so that it isn’t possible for intruders to walk out the dock and steal the boat. In such cases they either use small skiffs to get from land to the boat, or in the case of the first dock, have some way of attaching a ramp between the dock and the boathouse.
