Rotterdam Binnehaven Pincoffs scoundrel (#0137)
An odd statue, with a placard saying "Lodewijk Pincoffs A spectacle of so much glory and so much shame" (in English). The only information that I could find on him was in Dutch, but based on the translation of the page it seems that he was a prime developer of the port in the mid 1800's but that much of his success was due to faulty books. When that was found out, he fled to New York. Source: pincoffs1.blogspot.com
