Raton, NM electrification (# 0014)
Power Plant, Raton Public Service. This appears to be a mixture of additions from different eras, but what is of most interest is the portion of the building on the right. Though the more elaborate architecture on that portion, along with the font used for the text on the sign, are similar to Depression-era utility buildings, I later found out the building was started earlier. Thanks to very helpful response to an email to the Raton Museum, I found out that construction of the building began in the 1920's.
