Birmingham canals (#0221)

Many of the buildings along the canals are not as old as they might look. In some cases the canals are used as sites for modern condos, the large building on the left here is a hotel (Premier Inn). In the distance is the Library of Birmingham and a ferris wheel of the Christmas market. Much of the area in front of the Library is under construction.
