That is a spectacular piece of work, so cathedral-ish! Pure drama. The top floor addition is pretty sad and I wish people wouldn't plaster other materials with brick-colored paint (which really isn't), like the street-level facade thingy. Even worse is when actual bricks are painted with brick-colored paint. ;-(

I hadn't even noticed that part at the top that looked tacky. It was in a neighborhood where it didn't look like there was a strong preservation ethic :)
