El Centro IID Power Plant (#0947)
Unfortunately, finding the history on public buildings in Imperial County seems to be quite difficult. I did find information that the Imperial Irrigation District began generating power in the late 1930's, but didn't find any information about this Power Dept building. It's structure, though, looks similar to other utility buidlings from the 1930's.
