Palm Springs vigil for Orlando (#184017)
Vigil for the victims of the massacre of LGBT's in Orlando of 6/12/2016.
Turnout at the vigil was good even though it was called only five hours before it started and broadcast through word-of-mouth and Facebook. The city of Palm Springs cooperated with closing the street and providing extra police security; speakers at the vigil were community leaders, local religious leaders, the mayor, and our congressman, U.S. Rep Raul Ruiz.
