CA-180, descending into Kings Canyon of the South Fork of the Kings River. Kings Canyon was heavily damaged by the Rough Fire just 7 months before (August, 2015). Some of the damage is visible on the hill in the distance; subsequent photos show more of that fire damage. (Location on map is a rough approximate)
