Didn't know quite what to make of this building till finding a cached webpage through Bing. The building has an elegant stone front, was built in 1940, and has large lettering indicating that is is the "M. Rosa Corder Rest Room." Per the link at the end, the building is exactly as labeled. Mrs. Corder felt that there was a need for clean and quiet place for women (and their children) to relax and thus specified this building in her will.

This is something truly unique. I've never seen a structure with a story quite like this one.

I fixed the link and I agree, it is quite unique. It would be interesting to know more of the history. As in some other pictures, one thing I couldn't capture well was the very smallness of the town, which makes it even more unique. Re the different colors, considering the similarities in style of the top and bottom half, I wondered if the differences in color was just due to one part having been cleaned but not the other. The windows would have been different because of a need for more privacy on the lower part.
