On the Northwestern Motors building in Hay Springs, NE (see adjacent picture). These appear to be painted copies of earlier signs. The Oilzum logo dates back to the 30's but was used up into the 60's, gas at 22 cents / gallon appears to be from the 30's and 40's, NEHI (with that font) was introduced in the late 1920's.

I remember paying 26 cents a gallon in Pensacola in the early 70's. I found a webpage that listed average prices for gas, which is how I came up with the years listed.
